Refund policy
This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made from CHORRA through our Shopify store, private checkout links, live-stream claim sales, quotations, invoices, WhatsApp, and approved custom or OEM/ODM projects. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any right that cannot legally be waived.
1. Order Confirmation and Live Claims
A comment, claim, screenshot, message, product selection, or verbal statement during a live session is a request to reserve or purchase an item. An order becomes confirmed only after CHORRA confirms the applicable products, quantities, specifications, prices, deposit or payment amount, and successfully receives the required payment. If information in a live session conflicts with the Shopify checkout, quotation, invoice, or written confirmation, the latest written confirmation controls.
Unpaid claims or reservations may expire after the payment deadline stated by CHORRA. Products remain subject to availability until the order is confirmed.
2. Cancellation Before Work or Dispatch
Contact us promptly if you need to cancel. For standard stock items that have not been dispatched, reserved from a third-party supplier, packed specifically for the order, or otherwise committed, CHORRA will review the request and provide any refund required by applicable law.
For specially sourced, reserved, assembled, sampled, branded, customized, personalized, made-to-order, or OEM/ODM goods, cancellation may no longer be possible after sourcing, material preparation, design, sampling, tooling, packaging production, or manufacturing has begun. Where permitted by law, CHORRA may deduct reasonable, documented, non-recoverable costs already incurred.
3. Deposits, Sample Fees, Mold Fees, and Development Costs
A deposit is credited toward the confirmed order total. Before CHORRA begins work or incurs non-recoverable costs, a cancellation request will be reviewed and any refund due will be processed. After work begins, the refundable portion, if any, will be determined after deducting reasonable costs already incurred, subject to applicable law and the written order terms.
Sample fees, mold or tooling fees, design fees, artwork charges, testing fees, and custom packaging development costs are generally non-refundable after the relevant work begins. Any promise to credit or deduct such fees from a future production order is valid only if stated in writing.
4. Change-of-Mind Returns
Business, resale, boutique, designer, or commercial buyers are not entitled to a change-of-mind return unless CHORRA agrees in writing or applicable law requires otherwise. Items are not returnable merely because they do not sell, a downstream customer changes their mind, the buyer selected the wrong style or quantity, or the buyer later finds a lower price.
Where mandatory consumer distance-selling rights apply, CHORRA will honor them. The customer must notify us within the legally applicable period and return eligible goods in unused, unworn, unaltered condition with original packaging. The customer is normally responsible for return shipping for a lawful change-of-mind return unless applicable law states otherwise.
Made-to-order, personalized, engraved, logo-branded, custom-sized, custom-plated, specially sourced, or otherwise clearly customized goods may be excluded from change-of-mind rights where permitted by law. Unsealed hygiene-sensitive items, including pierced earrings where the hygiene seal has been removed, may also be excluded where permitted by law.
5. Incorrect, Damaged, Short, or Defective Orders
Inspect the shipment as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. To help preserve evidence and carrier rights, notify CHORRA promptly, preferably within 7 calendar days of delivery, if goods are missing, materially damaged, incorrect, or appear to have a manufacturing defect. This notification request does not reduce any longer mandatory legal right.
Please provide:
• Shopify order number, invoice number, or CHORRA order reference;
• clear photos and, where useful, an unedited opening video showing the outer package, shipping label, internal packing, and affected products;
• the affected item reference and quantity;
• a clear description of the issue; and
• any carrier damage report or customs document that is available.
6. Natural Materials and Reasonable Production Variation
Natural stone, crystal, pearl, shell, mineral, and handmade products may vary in color, shade, transparency, inclusions, texture, pattern, drilling, polish, shape, size, and weight. Minor variation from photos, samples, or between pieces is a normal characteristic and is not automatically a defect.
Stainless-steel jewelry and components may also show commercially reasonable differences between production batches, including minor variations in dimensions, polish, plating tone, stone position, or hand-assembled details. A material grade, plating method, test standard, or performance requirement applies only when it is stated in the written order specification.
7. Remedies
After reviewing the evidence, CHORRA may, as appropriate and subject to applicable law, offer repair, replacement, missing-quantity reshipment, rework, store credit, partial refund, or refund. The remedy will depend on the nature of the issue, the affected quantity, product value, feasibility, carrier responsibility, and mandatory legal requirements.
Do not return goods without written authorization and return instructions. Unauthorized returns, collect-on-delivery parcels, or returns sent to an unapproved address may be refused.
8. Return Condition and Shipping
Returned goods must be securely packed and, unless the return concerns a confirmed defect or CHORRA error, remain unused, unworn, unaltered, and complete with original packaging and accessories. The party responsible for return shipping and insurance will be determined by the reason for return and applicable law.
9. Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds are normally issued to the original payment method. Banks, card networks, PayPal, and other payment providers control the time required for funds to appear. Any non-refundable provider fee or currency-conversion difference will be handled according to applicable law and the provider’s rules.
